Oglethorpe Day and OU Giving Day Alumni Celebrations

On Oglethorpe Day, February 8, alumni returned to campus for an Alumni Happy Hour in the campus “living room” of Hearst Hall. This fun and informal gathering was a great opportunity to hear about campus updates from President Nick Ladany and Vice President of Advancement Juan McGruder, and most importantly to connect with fellow alumni.  

OU Giving Day was also celebrated February 8, and alumni from across generations joined in by showing their support for the funding initiatives highlighted as part of the OU Giving Day campaign. Alumni from the classes of 1963 through 2022 made donations on OU Giving Day, and their support will have an impact on Petrels today and into the future!
