Athletics
Oglethorpe University has one of the oldest traditions of intercollegiate athletics in the state of Georgia. Today, nearly a quarter of our student body competes in a sport on one of our 16 teams, and student-athletes play a significant role at Oglethorpe, driving core values like dedication and teamwork. And our Hall of Fame annually recognizes our stellar Petrel alumni.
Did you know that most of the teams’ games are livestreamed? You can follow the action whether you’re joining us on campus for a game or watching from home. The livestream link can be found on our website, in each team’s schedule, next to the respective game or match.

Student Success
The Office of Student Success is focused on their mission of supporting student achievement and well-being. With a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise, this dynamic team has ushered in innovative approaches to support OU students, including cohorted advising, accessibility services, and tutoring, supplemental instruction and writing support.

Global Education
Global learning is a combination of meaningful experiences engaging with people from all over the world, collaborating across differences, and applying what is learned from those experiences and relationships to analyze and situate how we exist in the world and the ways we can contribute to global challenges. The team at OU supports international students studying at Oglethorpe, global education initiatives for all students, and resources for OU students who wish to study abroad.
